Washington, D.C. - Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi -- who obviously is ignoring the severe rebuke voters gave those in the Democrat-controlled Congress during Tuesday's election and thousands of Americans who visited Members of Congress yesterday -- has scheduled a vote this weekend on a government-control health care bill. H.R. 3962, which will take control of 1/6 of the American economy. The Democrats intend to do this after only a few hours debate on the floor of the United States House of Representatives.

Wednesday, November 4, 2009

Washington, D.C. - In races all across the country, Americans turned out in large numbers in support of conservative candidates, conservative issues and they rejected big government liberalism.

Christian Coalition of American President Roberta Combs stated, "Over the course of this summer we've seen increasing numbers of Americans identify with conservative values and begin to speak out. Conservative activists and groups, including Christian Coalition of America, have been working hard for months to energize and activate fellow conservatives and it clearly paid off at the ballot box."

"This should give pause to moderate Democrats in Congress as they consider whether or not to support President Obama and Nancy Pelosi's agenda of big government run healthcare."

Christian Coalition thanks its supporters for all their calls, faxes, emails, etc. to their Senators to gain these victories.

Tuesday, August 25, 2009

Washington, D.C. - Christian Coalition of America commends U.S. District Judge David O. Carter for dismissing a lawsuit yesterday brought before the court by a homosexual couple in California who argued that the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), passed overwhelmingly by the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate, violate the U.S. Constitution by discriminating against them.  Indeed, President Bill Clinton signed DOMA into law in 1996 after the House and Senate passed the measure by huge margins of 342-67 and 85-14 respectively.

Democrats' Cynical Move Putting "Hate Crimes" in Defense Bill

Press Release

July 15, 2009

Washington, D.C. - In one of the most cynical moves in congressional history, the Senate Democrat leadership intends to include so-called "hate crimes" -- what many call "thought crimes" -- legislation into the National Defense Authorization Act legislation, S. 1390, Christian Coalition of America condemns this politically partisan move which attempts to make conservative and moderate Senators choose between funding our troops or voting for the abominable "hate crimes" legislation.

The Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Carl Levin, Democrat from Michigan, has confirmed that he intends to include "hate crime" legislation into the National Defense Authorization Act bill within a few days. Including sexual orientation in the "hate crimes" bill has long been a goal of the homosexual movement.

Washington, D.C. – The Democrat-controlled House of Representatives passed the "Thought Crimes" bill or what it's sponsors call the "Hate Crimes" bill today which will result in homosexuals and transgenders being protected under a special class under the federal hate crimes law. Barack Obama has promised to sign this abominable bill into law if the Senate also passes it. It is truly a disgraceful way to celebrate the 100th day of the Barack Obama administration.

Washington, D.C. –  The American people are sick and tired of judicial tyrants issuing legislation from the bench such as the decision issued today by the Iowa Supreme Court legalizing homosexual "marriages."  Christian Coalition of America condemns today's decision by Iowa's top court as well as the past narrow decisions by the top state courts in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Christian Coalition of America Urges Congress to Not Censor Radio Talk Show Hosts

Thursday, January 8, 2009

Washington D.C. – Speaker Nancy Pelosi late last year when asked whether the so-called "Fairness Doctrine" should be returned to the radio airwaves replied "Yes."  This is the policy  --  overturned by President Ronald Reagan  --  which required opposing views for basically everything said on radio's public airwaves.  After this anti-democratic policy was eliminated, talk show hosts thrived, especially those with a conservative persuasion.  Apparently Pelosi's party of freedom does not want freedom on the airwaves.

Washington, D.C. – "There are no gods, no devils, no angels, no heaven or hell. There is only our natural world. Religion is but myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds."

This is what a poster in the Washington state capitol building says as it is displayed right next to a Nativity scene depicting the Christmas story and with a huge bust of George Washington between them.
