Palin Responds to Liberals About Cause of Arizona Shooting

Sarah Palin has responded to those on the left and in the media who have suggested that it was right wing "rhetoric" that caused Jared Loughner to pick up a gun and open fire on dozens of people this past Saturday.

No sooner did the shooting occur than members of the media and Democrat talking heads took to the airwaves and laid the blame on everyone from the Tea party, to Rush Limbaugh, to Sarah Palin, claiming that it was their "vitriol" and "hate speech" that was too blame.  Of course they are (as usual) a little hazy on just what exactly qualifies as "hate speech", but it seems to come down to pretty much anything that is opposed to the liberal world view and/or their political goals.

Sen. Wellstone "Memorial" Service Redux

"The basketball arena at the University of Minnesota holds 20,000 people. Tonight it's jam-packed. Not for the Gophers, whose Big 10 championship banners hang from the rafters, but for Paul Wellstone, the liberal senator who died Friday in a plane crash while campaigning for re-election."
 
That was how the left-wing media outlet "Slate" described the "memorial" service on October 30, 2002 for Paul Wellstone, the socialist Minnesota senator who died in a plane crash during the last days of his reelection campaign.  Instead of honoring Senator Wellstone with a memorial service, the Democrats turned the event into a campaign rally relentlessly bashing Republicans including the Republican running against Wellstone, Norm Coleman... "Death Panels" Finding Their Way Back into ObamaCare

Despite the fact that they had to drop this idea from the original legislation...and despite the fact that promoters of health care "reform" promised that no such thing would ever happen, here it is, just months removed from ObamaCare being signed into law.

In case you missed it, the White House is planning to put forward regulations that will incentivize doctors to meet with patients and discuss their "end of life" options.
