Is it a ‘Good Deal?' Start by Reviewing the Administration’s Own Benchmarks

After more than two years of talks, multiple deadline extensions, and reports of numerous concessions to Iran, President Obama could announce a nuclear deal with Iran as soon as today.

If and when negotiators do strike a deal, Americans can expect the White House to frame it as the best chance to prevent Iran from getting a weapon. It’s this or war, administration officials will say.

‘Very Defiant,’ Secretary Clinton Claims She Was ‘Never’ Subpoenaed

“I didn’t hear a more open or transparent Hillary Clinton,” CNN’s Brianna Keilar said regarding her interview of the former Secretary of State, which touched on her unprecedented email arrangement. “[E]ven Democrats will say that’s a self-inflicted wound, that she was using her personal email account only, a personal server, that she turned over emails that she chose to, but ultimately wiped her server[.]”

This echoed what Keilar’s fellow journalist at CNN, John King, said a little over a week ago: Secretary Clinton “has only herself to blame.”

Indeed, Secretary Clinton’s false claims in Tuesday’s CNN interview – some new, some repeated – earned fact checks from The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal, while more reporters and journalists agreed that her evasions and obfuscations left critical questions unanswered... (READ MORE)


A Very Special Day for Vietnam Veterans

With hundreds of Vietnam veterans and their families in attendance at the U.S. Capitol this week, Speaker Boehner and other Congressional leaders marked the 50th anniversary since the deployment of America’s first ground combat units in Vietnam.

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (CA-23) released the following statement on House passage of H.R. 6, the 21st Century Cures Act:
