Christian Coalition of America Announces
It Will “Score” Vote to Repeal ObamaCare
Christian Coalition of America President Roberta Combs announced that the Coalition will indeed score upcoming votes in the US House of Representatives related to the repeal of ObamaCare.
“This past November the American people sent a clear and overwhelming message that they opposed the President’s new big-government health care law, and they want it repealed”, Combs said. “We intend to hold members of Congress to account by using this vote to score their job performance and make sure that the voters back home know what they are up to.”
The upcoming vote on H.R. 2, the “Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act” will be used to “score” members of Congress in the Coalition’s 2011 Congressional Scorecard.
H.R. 2 would repeal the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act”, commonly known as ObamaCare, effective as of its enactment, and the bill will restore provisions of law amended by the act. It would also repeal the health care provisions of the “Health Care and Education and Reconciliation Act of 2010”.
