What does it mean and how strong is it? The answer rests whoever is making the declaration.
Over the course of the past six plus years we’ve all heard talk from various world leaders threatening dire consequences if the opposition crossed “the red line.” The red line marks the end of the line, or does it?
Danger comes in many forms and it’s what we fail to see or detect that can harm us the most. I’m not talking about terrorism but rather about silver-tongued deception.
Some are attempting to capitalize on the division that exists in America today between blacks, whites, and others. Hatred and violence are fomented by evil design to stir up political unrest. If enough seeds of discord are scattered and take root, minority voters become easy prey for the liberal, leftist agenda. We must take note of those who are sowing such seeds and carefully warn others not to be deceived.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent visit with U.S. President Donald Trump has bolstered Israel’s security and global standing. It also shored up Netanyahu’s political leverage.
After Bibi’s contentious relationships with Obama and Clinton, he needed results from this trip that wouldboosthis influence at home—and the restoration of a strong Israel-U.S. alliance fits the bill. Though he didn’t get reassurances from Trump on every point he wanted, the visit was a success. For the first time in 11 years, a Republican president and friendlier, GOP-majority Congress welcomed the prime minister of Israel.
After a hiatus of relative calm, anti-Semitism has been accelerating at an alarming pace across the globe. Its most ominous surge is in Europe, Australia and North America—those traditional bastions of equal rights. All is not quiet on the Western front. Global anti-Semitism rose 30 percent in 2013 and 40 percent in 2014; in Europe, it increased sevenfold from the 1990s to the 2000s. "These are the worst times since the Nazi era," German Jewish leader Dieter Graumann told The Guardian. “It's pure hatred against Jews, nothing else.” Last year, anti-Semitism exploded exponentially, prompting U.S. Jewish leader Malcolm Hoenlein to warn of a “pandemic in formation.”
Although Barack Hussein Obama’s tenure as President of the United States has ended and John Kerry is no longer the U.S. Secretary of State, Israel’s woes on the world’s stage are not over. However, under the new Trump administration, Israel will hopefully once again find they have a true and loyal friend in the United States.
The old phrase of “not being able to see the forest for the trees” is now a veritable truth when it comes to Western society and especially the United States. Identifying, or at least accurately naming, the source of terrorism seems to elude many in the United States. That old adage was often associated with a degree of levity however that “forest” now includes changes in law that are not so funny to millions of Americans. Allowing Sharia law to secure a foothold anywhere in the United States is a very serious mistake yet it is happening. Just ask Google. The liberal left is either unable or unwilling to name this cancer and exercise a cure and this could mean the downfall of our American way of life and the values and freedoms we embrace and enjoy.
In his celebrated, but tardy, prime time television announcement, President Obama told the world that America is on the right side of history. Wrong, Mr. President. We are living in the wake of terror in America and fearful of more to come. The population is now living in a state of concern when going to a shopping mall, convention center or sports arena – any place where there is a large public gathering. Welcome to the world in which Israelis have been living for decades. The terror which Israelis confront on a daily basis will soon be mirrored on American streets. The proverbial handwriting is on the wall. Those who shout “Death to Israel and Death to America” mean exactly what they say.
While waiting for the dust to settle on the impressive sounding Iranian nuclear plan known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and also known by many as “The Obama Legacy Hope” and the “Kerry Nobel Prize Search,” I realized that I might be dead when that dust settles. Hopefully it will be due to natural causes but it is possible that it might be caused from nuclear fallout – even if it takes ten years to touch down. I will keep you posted.
While it’s no longer news, it’s still shockingly unbelievable that President Obama and the P5+1 group (United States, United Kingdom, Russia, China, France and Germany), have agreed to a nuclear deal with Iran; the world’s largest supporter and exporter of terror. Iran currently has a nuclear program in place and, despite denials from the White House, this new deal has opened a pathway for Iran to enrich weapons-grade uranium and be ready with a nuclear bomb in ten years or less. Furthermore, part of the nuclear deal will lift current economic sanctions resulting in a windfall to Iran in excess of one hundred and fifty billion dollars.
