An Unintended but Pleasant Surprise for Israel

Although Barack Hussein Obama’s tenure as President of the United States has ended and John Kerry is no longer the U.S. Secretary of State, Israel’s woes on the world’s stage are not over. However, under the new Trump administration, Israel will hopefully once again find they have a true and loyal friend in the United States.

Enough is Enough

When is enough, enough? Israel is at the point of the spear—multiple spears from the enemies surrounding her. Since emerging from the Holocaust and becoming a nation in 1948, Israel has endured two intifadas, 16 wars or operations, terrorism on the streets, relentless rockets from Hamas terrorists in Gaza, BDS campaigns and anti-Semitic attacks, and recently, terrorism by arson—more than 550 fires in the past week, many of which were caused by arson. As if this weren’t enough, a nuclear-armed, hostile Iran is supplying Hamas with missiles, and the Palestinian Authority plans a Security Council resolution condemning settlement—causing apprehension as to President Obama’s intentions.

Shameful Christian History

The Bible talks much about self-examination and is filled from cover to cover with lessons of morality, honor, integrity and values.  Christian history as it relates to Israel and the Jewish people is not one of which those who claim the name of Christ ought to be proud.  In fact, it is cause for us to hang our heads in shame and disgrace.  Time and again when the people which God Himself calls the ‘Apple of His eye’ needed us - needed anyone - to come to their rescue, we turned our back

Halt 'Christ at the Checkpoint.' It's fueling anti-Semitism.

BDS is a Moral Failure

Those who participate in singling out and attempting to hurt Israel through boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) campaigns are anti-Israel and not pro-Palestinian as they often claim.  The purpose of BDS is purely anti-Semitic meant only to inflict harm on Israeli businesses and the Israeli economy and not to help the Palestinians or any others for that matter.  If this were not so, those who support BDS would recognize that many Palestinians and Arabs freely and happily work for Israeli companies on both sides of the imaginary “Green Line.”  When Israeli industries and factories suffer, Palestinian and Arab workers suffer too.

True Christians are not part of the BDS crowd
