The Congressional Budget Office figures emerged Friday, and offered a far more dire outlook for Obama's budget than the administration predicted last month. The Projected deficit threatens Obama's plans - politics - White House ...,and is accurate even for a liberal Associated Press.
Auditors say this budget would produce $9.3 trillion in red ink over next decade. However, Budget Director Peter Orszag decided to spin the Congressional Budget Office's economic projections: “they are probably more pessimistic than those of the President”. However, Orszag acknowledged, “…if the CBO projections are correct, Obama's budget would produce unsustainable deficits.”
It’s almost impossible eliminating a $9.3 trillion dollar debt in ten decades. But Obama is not worried about total debt.
