Will God Handle the Present-day Persian Haman?

Iran's current president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has boldly and loudly proclaimed to Israel and to all the world that he thinks the Jewish people are children of pigs, that they are a cancer on the world that needs to be removed, and that their Jewish nation of Israel must be "wiped off the face of the map." It sounds more than a little like the book of Esther is being re-written and the hateful Persian danger has risen again. It so happens that, very much like the hateful Persian leader Haman 2500 years ago, another hateful Persian leader has arisen today who is again threatening to destroy the Jewish people.  Although the name of God is not mentioned in the pages of the book of Esther, the mind and hand of God are there - unmistakably clear.

What’s NOT in Your Wallet?

What’s NOT in your wallet? Perhaps the few extra dollars Uncle Sam has taken from you and gave to the Palestinian Authority (PA) with virtually no accountability and no expectations. Its over $600 million dollars from your wallet to theirs amid continued acts of terror and violence perpetrated against our friend an ally Israel.

Israel Will Live Forever

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently addressed the United Nations General Assembly, strongly defending the existence of the state of Israel, and stressing that the Jewish state "will live forever." He also warned the nations of the world that a nuclear armed Iran will be a great threat not only to Israel and the Middle East, but also to all the world.

He started his speech by saying that he was happy to be addressing the UN General Assembly, which was being presided over by the Israeli Ambassador to the UN. Then the first item on his agenda was to stress the long existence of the state of Israel and to defend its present existence. "Three thousand years ago," he said, "King David ruled over a nation called Israel, and from a capital called Jerusalem." He added, "Today we are happy to have a modern Jewish state that will live forever."

Radical Palestinian Terrorists Deserve to Reap What they Sow

"We Can't Believe It!"

Like most Americans, we watched the United States presidential election returns on TV last Tuesday with great interest. We followed the results for a few hours that showed the race to be close and tight all along. Then suddenly, the newscasters declared that President Barack Obama had won Ohio. One of the analysts made the statement, "Well, that's the election."

Then the TV programmers put up a full screen statement, "Obama is Re-Elected!" Immediately we responded, "We can't believe it!"

We American Christians had hoped for, prayed for, and expected a different outcome. We were overwhelmed with disappointment and disbelief. We were strong and reasonable in our desire for the conservative challenger Mitt Romney to defeat the liberal incumbent president Barack Obama.

Obama’s Silence on Israel’s Plight Questioned by Romney

For those who watched the third and final Presidential debate one thing was certain, President Obama made a 360 degree turn when asked if he would stand with Israel if she had to go to war with Iran to stop their nuclear proliferation.  Until the debate, which focused on foreign policy, Mr. Obama has been silent on standing with Israel virtually ignoring Iran’s threat to wipe Israel off the face of the planet. When asked by his opponent, Mitt Romney, why he visited virtually every Middle East country but bypassed Israel, Obama regressed all the way back to before taking office and simple stated he had visited Israel and even Sderot, an Israeli town next to Gaza. Romney quickly seized the moment and stated that if Israel is forced into war, as President of the United States he (Mitt Romney) would stand solidly beside Israel.  Shortly there after Obama followed suit despite being silent for over four years.

Israel’s Fight Is Our Fight

Too many Christians and too many Americans view the conflict between Israel and the Arab-Muslim forces surrounding it as a Middle Eastern (regional) problem. They fail to grasp the reality that Islamic terrorism constitutes a global war. Israel and the Jewish people are undoubtedly Islam’s key enemies, but America and Christians are certainly next on their list.

Muslim leaders have often declared that Israel is the “Small Satan” while America is the “Great Satan.” Jews and Christians alike are negatively characterized as “infidels,” and therefore they deserve to be killed for the honor of the Muslim god. Allah insists that Islam is divinely authorized to rule the entire world. According to the Muslim super-authority, the Koran, anyone or anything that stands in its way must be eliminated.

Americans are being manipulated by leftist media

YOUR THOUGHTS and OPINIONS are being manipulated...

and it is being done in ways that are subtle but to the knowing person, it is an outrage.  I have personally observed and talked at length with people in the movie and film industry.  I have two decades of background experience in news media and television. Based on my experience and observation, there are certain techniques used by the media to slant and color your thoughts and opinions without you being aware of what is happening.  A recent example is last night's 60 Minutes interview with Governor Mitt Romney and President Barack Hussein Obama.

Understanding the Islamic Mindset

Many religious and political discussion forums are taking place across America and around the world in an attempt to foster understanding and tolerance between Christians, Jews and Muslims.  I, too, am a proponent of the concept of understanding.  To be able to co-exist with Muslims, Christians and Jews and the West in general must possess more than a surface or media-generated understanding of the Islamic mindset.  What I have observed coming from these forums thus far clearly indicates that we are failing to grasp even the basics principals necessary to understand Islamic thought and reasoning.

The World Is Blind Concerning Israel’s Plight

How can the entire world seemingly ignore the realities of the conflict between Israel and her Arab neighbors — including the very real threats to Israel’s existence from radical Islam? Is it just blindness, or is it something much deeper? Have world leaders not learned any lessons from past history? Can they not recognize evil when they see it? Will they not acknowledge the contamination of anti-Semitism in their own minds?
