The Real Memory of 9/11

Today marks the eighth anniversary of an extraordinarily tragic day, one that fundamentally changed America as we knew it. On September 11th 2001, terrorist took aim and struck without mercy, incinerating liberal, conservative, black, white, democrat, and a multitude of other Americans; this still surreal day transformed America on so many different levels.

A faceless killer, snuck passed our military defenses, eluded our nuclear warheads and our spy satellites and murdered over 3000 of our civilians, on our own soil. The recorded phone calls, the televised jumpers, and the people swarming from the collapsing cement and steel, constant digital reminders that we can't hide. And come to find out we can't compromise, coddle, coheres, or even appease these evil warriors of death.

Update: What's Behind "YOU LIE" Shout?

Congressman Joe Wilson stopped the world with a shout this week, when he yelled,  "YOU LIE" at Obama.  That came after 'The One' stated that illegal immigrants would not be covered in his healthcare plan.  Wilson's two words, now famous, came out with a curious authority that was more than just an outburst.  Orlean Koehle, State President of Eagle Forum of California, forwarded an email to me from Allen Ide of Deleware that explains the oomph behind the shout:

"YOU LIE" Shout The Only Truth in Speech

In a rambling speech regarding the excellence of Obama's Health Scrare Plan (9/9/09), one congressman, Joe Wilson (R-SC) struggled to keep himself in order until Obama stated: "Illegal immigrants will not receive healthcare coverage." That was [the] one mis-statement too many that propelled the congressman to yell out for the world to hear, "You lie!"

The deftly installed president had been denying his own words and writing that is in his healthcare plan for America. He even had the audacity to deny that medical care would be rationed or even denied in certain situations and ridiculed those who questioned these  provisions.

American Destructo

I can easily think of a multitude of greater
causes to devote the federal government’s costly time and resources to, rather
than the unscrupulous task of prosecuting the prior administration. Eric
Holder’s witch hunt is a revolting waste of the taxpayer’s dime, but pales in
comparison when measured up to President Obama’s weak admission of not being
able to control his Attorney General.

anti- American president

Is he anti- American?  I think he is.  He wants illegal aliens to have healthcare!  They are here illegally!  Why should the taxpayer pay for people who do not pay taxes.  This guy has no idea how to be a leader.  It is the democratic voters fault for believing him.  I am all for having a African- American president.  How about Colin Powell or Condi Rice?  The Christian voter needs to inform his church on these issues.  I think alot of Democrats are not informed on the liberals positions.  People need to be taught what life is about.  People need to be taught about ethics and morals.  This government is not very ethical or moral.

Obama calls out the dogs

The Obama regime is desperately whipping it's dogs into a bloodthirsty frenzy, in an effort to counter the passionate pleas of freedom exploding from concerned Americans around the nation. Watching their liberties being threatened, citizens from both parties are poised to to take a stand. The fire that has rapidly spread, has taken the President and his cronies by surprise, they can't quite fathom a knowledgeable citizenry challenging his agenda.

High powered politicians staring blankly at each other, " duh, aren't these people supposed to just fold up and obey?" These pompous hacks are actually taken back by a public whose better versed on the Obama-care than they are; imagine that, how arrogant these parasites are, they are irritated by this inconvenience. Nancy Pelosi wants us to believe that the revolt is comprised of greedy insurance agents and dissenting GOP members.

Alternatives to ObamaCare

I asked for Christians to come up with a better plan a couple of weeks ago, but got no response.  Why?

I have some ideas:

- Allow for a high risk pool, like we have for auto insurance, so people with pre-existing conditions can get insurance.

- Allow health insurance companies to sell across state lines.  This would allow people to choose their plans and by having a larger group to sell to, would decrease premiums.

- If they don't want to do a high risk pool, why not allow people who have been denied insurance three or more times to be able to BUY INTO the current plans government employees have now.

- Prevent insurance companies from denying or non-renewing coverage to small businesses when an employee gets sick.

These options wouldn't break the bank, and would solve many of the problems we have now.

Obama's Legion of flying Monkey's from Hollywood

They gather in the cool midnight air, circling the clouds, their brilliantly white capped teeth reflecting in the moonlight; right now they cast aside the temptation to judge their peers expensive face jobs, and focus on the task at hand, defending the messiah, lord Barack Obama. This legion of primates are indigenous to the land of Hollywood, closely related to the homosapien, only separated by a euphoric elitist psychosis and an innate hatred traditional values.

We need to come up with our own health care plan!

As a Christian, I have a problem opposing national health care. Why can't we take care of our sick who are in need?

Right now, doctors are beholden to profit-making corporations, and instead of a bureaucrat between you and your doctor, an employee of a profit-making corporation is making decisions that will determine how much money the corporation profits. That sounds immoral to me.

If you don't have health insurance, doctors just won't take you. My son is dealing with that now - he is too old for our health insurance and although he worked full-time for the required time, the week before he was to get benefits, they put an indefinate freeze on new benefits.  Someone will have to quit or get fired for him to qualify, and nobody there dares to quit in this econonmy. He needs an MRI, and has the $1800 for it, but can't find a doctor to prescribe it - the hospitals won't do one without a prescription. Clinics won't do it because his situation is too complicated.
