PATCHOGUE, NY – Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1), member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, co-chair of the House Republican Israel Caucus and one of two Jewish Republicans in Congress, just issued the following statement after a terrorist attack in Israel by a gunman, with previous ties to Palestinian groups, wounded eight people, including four New Yorkers:
“Terrible news coming out of Israel as we learn a New York family of four was wounded in a terrorist attack near the Western Wall. Praying for their recovery. The Palestinian Authority financially rewards terrorism and incites violence. The terrorist who committed this latest act is entitled to payment from the PA as a reward for carrying out this violence targeting innocent Israelis and Americans. This is why the Taylor Force Act is so important, to shut down this revenue stream of U.S. taxpayer financed support to the PA.”
